The Public Information committee is responsible for the following functions:
- Maintaining a speaker bureau roster of people who are available for speaking at non-alcoholic groups and arrange such speaking commitments.
- Assisting press and other public media in the development of publicity about A.A.
- Maintaining the Rockland County Intergroup Association of Alcoholics Anonymous Web-site, in keeping with the Twelve Traditions.
- Cooperate but not affiliate with other community agencies in dealing with the alcoholic.
The committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month at All Saints Episcopal Church, 182 Ridge Road, Valley Cottage.
*Please note: the August meeting has been postponed. The next meeting will take place on September 11th, 2019.
The Public Information committee is looking for volunteers. All groups are welcome to send a representative to help.
