The National AA Technology Workshop (NAATW) 7th Annual Workshop
“AA and Technology in a Time of Change” will be held online from Friday 9/17 until Sunday 9/19 via Zoom. Registration is open now. There is a small $5 fee to attend.
As we emerge from the pandemic: technology lessons learned, what worked, what didn’t and where we go from here.
We have planned is a full workshop. The first sessions will begin at 8PM EDT on Friday, followed by two full days of sessions over the weekend with the annual member meeting sometime in the middle of the day on Sunday. There will be breaks throughout the day and exact times will be published closer to the event.
Schedule:
- Friday: 8PM – 10PM EDT
- Saturday: 11AM – 8PM EDT
- Sunday: 11AM – 6PM EDT
NAATW is made up of people from varying backgrounds in AA. We share our experiences on how to use technology in our AA work in order to learn and grow from each other. NAATW is a forum for learning to frame the right questions, and sharing the groups’ current answers as well as past and current experience. It gives opportunity for group collaboration and new ideas to spark.
All forms of service are involved: Intergroup, General Service, and the Home Group. But you also need not be involved with the formal service structure of AA at all, to attend. Attendees typically come from the US and Canada. But one of the lessons from the last year is that there are no borders with AA Technology and the experiences from around the globe are immensely helpful.
